Argh Matey!

The scouts had their annual banquet Friday night. Each year there's a theme, this year it was pirates! My FAAAAAAVORITE!

Overall it was a fun night!

Saturday I decided to take the boys to Monkey Joe's for lunch since Jon was working. I thought I'd do that instead of sit home and try to pull all of my toenails out before I soaked them in rubbing alcohol followed by a salt scrub. I'm amazed how many parents let their small children wander around unattended while they read a book.

What was even better was going to Wal-Mart after dark. All four of us. Yippeeee! Jon said "I never felt like you could get cooties just by looking at somebody until today". It's always an adventure at Wal-Mart at night.

This morning I went out with the intentions of walking and I ended up running a lot. It was really tough on the hamstring, but I adjusted my stride a little bit and I could tolerate it for longer periods. My heart rate was very high, in the 170's. I completed 5.25 in about 1:05. Can't complain- my goal was 3! We'll see how I feel tomorrow morning, I'm already walking like a penguin!
