Easter Egg Hunt

This has been a wonderful week. The boys started karate and they LOVE it. We've been so hesitant to put Xan in anything due to his developmental delays, but I'm becoming more confident believing that it's something we can put behind us. Xavier is awesome. SO good, the instructor wants him to wear knuckle busters because he hits so hard. I can attest to that!

We also had our neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt today. In the past, Xan wouldn't do it. He'd become overloaded, throw his basket and shut down. Another thing in the past. I don't wish the issues we had with Xan on anyone, but everyday I find another mundane thing he does such a big deal. My kids are pretty rad!

The Easter Bunny with Xavier. The bunny had blond hair in the back! How odd!

Xan's butt to top right. Cold busted stealing eggs from the little kids' section. Xavier on left.

Xan and his unfortunate hairstyle unloading the eggs in the clubhouse.

If you look on the fence, you'll see an opossum! It was having a stare down with Meeks (our dog) at about 1:30pm. Since they are nocturnal, I was worried it was sick, but Jon said it was "playing 'possom" so it was most likely not sick. I think Meeks stirred it up looking for the ever elusive tennis ball in the bushes.

I had a busy day! I made a lasanga and 4-6 dozen chocolate chip cookies for Val's party tomorrow, I did an hour of cardio with Sara at the park, brought the boys to karate, egg hunt, playdate, grocery store and I just finished crocheting an egg for the party too. WHEW! I wanted to get my nails done, but I wanted to sit in my own house for a minute!
I still want to crochet another 1-2 eggs, but they were a bitch. I'll post a photo of the bunny, the chick and the the eggs later.
