Lemonade Rules!

Instead of ruining a beautiful day off and a delicious picnic lunch, I decided to find something new for the boys and I to do. I remembered seeing a beach on one of the lakes from the interstate, but I had no idea how to get there. With the drought, I wasn't even sure there WAS a freaking beach. I googled and clicked a bunch of stuff and found Acworth Beach. It was awesome. About 30 miles away, free during the week, clean, not crowded, a playground and picnic area next to the beach, a concession stand, bathrooms, and normal parents! The boys had a great time and made friends right away with some other kids. After 3 hours I had to force them into the car.

We lucked out and saw a train go by as we were stopped right in front of the crossing. Xan said "I want to go back next week" and Xavier said "I had fun with the beach and the nice train. I gonna take a nice nap now" and he did. He's still out 1.5 hours later. :) Xan is passed out in the car still.

Xan kept saying "This place is awesome I love it here".

I said "Sometimes when things don't work out it's for the best. If we were at White Water today we would have never found this great spot. When you have lemons, make lemonade!"

Xan "I thought you brought us apple juice to drink?"
