Whew.

This series cut into my crocheting time A LOT. The audience targeted in the books is young adult, but it's really no different than a sappy romance novel minus the gratuitous sex scenes. (Not that I don't enjoy some smut now and then)

There was so much criticism about Breaking Dawn, but to be honest I liked it. Meyer's characters were so deep, so layered (hence the 800 pages) I felt myself either hating some, loving some, sick of some, and relating to some.

So it's a big two thumbs up here!

Next is a book loaned to me by my bookworm friend Val.

SNUFF by Chuck Palahniuk. It's about a porn star having sex with 600 guys. Like I said, I like my smut too. :P I love me some Chuck. One of the BEST books I've ever read was Invisible Monsters. That book stays with you for days, like eating raw garlic.

Little man starts school tomorrow. HOOOOO-FREAKIN-RAAAAAAYYYY!!!!! Time to start that list....ugh.
