Hiding from the HEAT

Today is hot as hell. It's 90 and it feels like 96. (Here I am complaining while my husband is slaving away outside, but I will anyway) I have a wonderful headache brought on by my feeble attempts to limit my caffiene. If something is that tough to quit I hate to think what it's doing to my body! I'm holding off going to the pool as long as I can. The closer to dinner we go the faster they pass out for bed!

Despite it all, we did a few indoor things today, after I worked 7:30-10:30. Today was my last day of those horrible football creatures. HOORAY!

Lunch: 2 tomatoes, 1 cuke, 1/2 an onion, 4 slices vegan deli meat and fat free italian dressing. Yummmm. Can't finish it all!

Xavier and I made clothespin people

Xavier's artwork

WIP- amigurumi beaver. (head out of gutter folks) Right now it looks like an exucutioner's hood. ;) The little girl who dog sits for us is obsessed with beavers. Hey now- there's something for everyone!

There was at least 10 minutes of silence. I snuck upstairs with my camera, hoping I wouldn't find a crime scene. Instead I found this!

It didn't last long

Spot the toys and the kitty! Xavier's wreck of a room.

Not to be outdone- Xan's disaster area. He tried to tell me it's a big battle- but all I see is big mess.

My sweet kitty Bean. She's much more photogenic than this. I guess she gets that from me!
