My baby's another year older

Today Xan's 8!!! I can't believe it. The picture is from yesterday. We went to CPK for a lunch 'date' and that was the hot fudge brownie a al mode dessert he chose. He's a sucker for a good desert.

Today Jon and I met him for lunch @ school and smuggled in a Chik Fil-A sandwich and a big cupcake. He was so excited to see us, especially Dad because it was a surprise. He put his arms around both of us and said "This is the best birthday EVER!"

I've had a long day and it's not even over- 5:30am bootcamp, 8:55 preschool drop off, 9am client, 10 am client, 11 change run into store and buy cupcake, lunch at school, volunteer, 12:30 go to Wal-Mart to get presents/food, 1:25 go home and wrap/let dog out, 1:45 go to target to get one more thing, 2:10 get Xavier, 2:40 meet Xan at bus stop, 3:00 do homework and now deal with a cranky Xavier and try not to dwell on the fact that despite an adjustment and ART yesterday my neck, shoulder and arm feel only 25% better.

We have b-day festivities here and menu hand picked by Xan, presents and then boot camp @ 7 in the rain!!!! Blargh! I'll be cross eyed by then!
