Movie review/ True Blood Finale

Although I had no sleep and horrific cramps, I made it to the theater to see Twilight. Let me just say, on the way I had this giddy excitement thing going on. I haven't been this psyched for a movie since....well ever.

The good news is the movie made about $70 million this weekend and is green-lighted for the sequels. Good for 2 reasons: 1) Duh to see their interpretation of what happens next and 2) Hopefully the studio gives them a bigger budget because the special effects were pretty lame. I wish Bella's character showed a bit more emotion- she rarely smiled. Overall, I give it a BIG thumbs up. Read the book first, it makes it better!

Best scene, in my opinion, was the first kiss.


Seriously hot. I remember my first kiss with Jon, wanting more than a kiss but still nervous. Of course I wasn't nervous he would EAT me- it was fear of seeming too willing. By now you all know I put out for him... we have the 2 kids to prove it!

Tonight was also the True Blood finale. Haven't watched it yet? Why not? HBO has it on demand. I'm not a fan of TV shows. Not because I'm a snotty "I don't watch TV" person, but because I'm non-committal when it comes to series. They usually let me down! It was so FREAKING good. So many loose ends to tie up. They're making us wait until SUMMER 2009!!!! Damn you Alan Ball! In the mean time I have the books by Charlain Harris. With my current workload of Christmas presents to crochet, goody bags to decorate for Thanksgiving, Closets and bathrooms to clean- reading is way down on that list. I think the elliptical will be the best way to get this series going!

Sooooo, I'm too fired up for sleep and I have boot camp @ 5:30AM tomorrow. 7 hours! Stupid vampires!!!!
