Soggy Seven

I wanted to complete 7 miles on Sunday, racewalking as much as I could. I did one mile @ 11 minute pace and the rest averaged out to 13:45. Let me just say to all you runners out there- try to racewalk one mile 1 minute slower than you normally train. Holy shit I was absolutely dying. The 40 degree weather with moderate to heavy RAIN did little to inspire me, but I finished. I walked along the Chattahoochee (Yes like the song- google it har har har) which is flat and soft. There were tons of geese out, when the rain let up enough this little guy was kind enough to pose for me.

I was going to do a WOD after, but I was spent. This morning's boot camp more than made up for it, a 15 station circuit 2 times, plus cardio intervals on the elliptical (due to rain). If I have the ability to move my legs after my old man gets home, I'll take the dog for a walk in the neighborhood.

I'm making vegan chick'n and dumplings for dinner tonight, I can't wait. We were lucky my oldest landed on St.Patty's day for snack leader, I'm also making 24 cupcakes. I found some shamrock paper liners and little sticks that say different St.Patty's day things. Hopefully none are about drinking. WHoops, better check that.
I also crocheted 5 4 leaf clovers for his teachers and crocheted the safety pin in there too so they can just put it on. I used 100% cotton which is wicked hard to work with if you're using an f hook. My hands are toast.
Camera phone is really not doing these guys justice!
