Beginner WOD

Sweet Mother. The warm-up was hard enough: Run 500 meters, stretch sho/hips, 15 push ups chest to floor, 15 ab mat sit ups, 15 air squats and hang 10 seconds 2 pull-ups X 3!!!! After the 2nd round of chest to floor push-ups, it was becoming more apparent that I was about to suffer through an epic ass-whoopin. Bring it on.
At first I thought I'd do the advanced WOD. However after the warm-up my ego shrank as my brain took over and I stuck with the Beginner WOD.

In 20 minutes complete as many as possible:

5 pull-ups (jumping- Janis has a lot of work to do)

10 push-ups (knees- bringing that chest to the floor is horrible)

10 wall ball shots (12 pound ball)

10 box jumps (I used the big box, either 18 or 20") then switched to smaller which I think was actually harder)

10 Slams balls (8 pounds)

Finished with 7 and a half, one shy of 8. If I didn't have the HUGE box I know I would have done more. And the 12 pound ball was a real challenge!!

My favorite part was feeling like I was about to hurl and Jason said "Almost half way there!"

I kept smiling- it's a good feeling to get your ass handed to you. I was soaked in sweat, arms shaking, legs cramping. I'm so going to hate myself in the morning, but what a feeling today! I can see how this gets totally addicting. :)
