3.5 pounds
YAY!!! I was less than optomistic about my results. Yesterday I made brownie truffles.
A bit laborious but the result is to die for. It's just a pan of cooled fudge brownies crumbled up and mixed with chocolate frosting until sticky but not wet. Roll into bite size balls and freeze. 2 hours later dip in melted candy coating (the kind from Michael's on sale right now too) and top with sprinkles. Stick in fridge and voila! The kids give them 2 thumbs up!
The good thing is each brownie is about 1 point because they're so small.
Things I liked:
The flex points. I didn't use them all but I liked having the option. It's easier for me to stay tight during the week knowing I can relax over the weekend.
Gets me eating my veggies. I'll skip out on this whenever I have the chance to. I ate a salad almost every day, and a large bag of frozen veggies almost every day. My skin is clearer because of it!
The website. I love the site! The recipes are great, the points/activity tracker is awesome. I also like the ticker on the right for your water, vitamins, etc. I've used the site on my blackberry too. Awesome.
Things I didn't like:
1/2 point sweet snacks. I was popping one of those things in my mouth instead of fruit. Full of chemicals and added fiber- not good tasting either.
Point confusion. Some items are listed as 1 point, such as jello sugar free mousse. I would eat 2, and the points totalled 3. ? Zero point soup is actually zero points for one cup but 1.5 for 2 cups.
Added Fiber to everything! I love being regular as much as the next gal, but many of the items lower in points are FULL of fiber. I was tricked a few times- I would eat 2 light english muffins for 2 points and 16 grams of fiber. If you don't drink enough water or injest some fresh fruit/veg you will get the opposite effect. Fun stuff!
All in all I'm happy! I'm hoping to lose all my weight by spring break. YAY!
