Ravelry Inspiration

I cannot imagine my cats wearing a sweater. There's something so funny about a cat wearing clothes.

I love, love, love this scarf. It's from Stitch and Bitch crochet book, I think it's called the Happy Hooker. I love it.

I'm attempting this hat today with a thick yarn from Michael's. I'll probably choose a dark color with little flecks of other colors. I have a bright deep pink jacket that needs a matching hat!

My intentions were to go to Cast-on cottage, pick up a few skeins of yummy yarn and a few crochet magazines and stay busy last night. My DH was working on the garage door (that has been busted for over 6 months) and Xavier wanted to go. Because I wanted to make his life easier, I let him tag along. A child in a yarn shop isn't so bad because nothing can break!
As I drive to the LYS, Xavier passes out asleep. I sit in the parking lot debating on leaving him in the car, because I wouldn't be more than 5 minutes, but say screw it and drive back home. So I frog a few old projects and use that yarn for other things. Xavier sat next to me and wrapped yarn around a hook. He was so busy and quiet. It was adorable.
A cold and yucky Sunday here. 40 degree, 30 mph winds. Not a great day for running- that's what the treadmill is for! I'd like to get in 4.5 today. I'm not too sore from the race yesterday, which is great! We're going out for breakfast (dh's guilt from an emotional rollercoaster day yesterday) and then we're going to see Santa at the club for cookies and cocoa.
