Business decisions

On my way up and over the cargo net, April 2007
Oh the Memories....

I've had 3 new clients commit this week, which is great. The reaction is the same.

"That's YOU in the picture? Oh..." (as they look me up and down.)

I try to explain the dangers of an extreme diet for an extended length of time but it falls on deaf ears. It's easier to say "I want to spend my time focusing on my boys" than "I'm hungry, I'm tired of the politics, yadda yadda yadda." Both statements are true.

So I began dieting again. Not as hardcore as if I were doing a show, but I'm really tightening up. I want to lose this extra crap in my legs and butt. I'm sticking to my strength training schedule and I'm trying to slowly add back distance running without hurting my hamstring.

I'm going to have some pics taken for the website/training in June. Hopefully I can lean out enough.
If I can get where I want with minimal stress/obsession over food I may enter the WTFitness in the fall in Tampa. I do love the obstacle course.

It's truly a drug, this competition thang. I also know I need to keep myself 'out there' if I want to train more ladies for figure/o-course. I'll be 34 in June and I should be in the prime of my 'physique' career. I guess it's put up or shut up. I will say this, a big "no thanks" when it comes to Pro Figure. I left feeling worse and I'm so over the routine round.

Hey, I just stumbled on your blog and noticed the Tri-Fitness picture! Have you competed before? I did Fall 2006, Spring 2007, and Summer 2007 with Tri-Fitness. I loved it! I haven't competed this year because I've been distance running lately and it was hard to juggle it all!!

Al is great, he's such a fun trainer for the obstacle course!
