A date with another man

I spent the afternoon with Xan on our "date". He was acting really stinky (that's our term for shit head here) and I figured what he needed was a little one on one time. We did some recycling, went to Target, Applebee's for lunch and dessert (his choice) followed by Wal-Mart for a few groceries and a toy as a reward for his excellent behavior. Nothing completely special but I know when he holds my hand as we walk around the store he's enjoying himself. I made dinner, listen to Roy Orbison and watched the boys have a huge battle with the playdough I bought Xavier. As a bonus, my husband cleaned the house this morning, so now all I have to do is work on that stupid freaking knitting. I just can't get into it. I really want to love it. The whole time I struggling with it I'm thinking "This would be soooo much easier if I were crocheting!"
