Stepford wifing it

I think stuff like this is for 'busy' people try to appear busier than they truly are.

Of course that means it's right up my alley!!!

Monday: Veggie chicken, broccoli stir fry over jasmine rice. (easy to make ahead of time because I work at night AND I've got sushi night with my girls)
Tuesday: Egg white heavy, (2%Milk)cheese, veg quiche with a crust made from leftover rice from Monday
Wed: Will most likely be something on the fly. We have a swim team meet.
Thur: Stuffed peppers with soy crumbles. Side of french bread and maybe a salad for me.
Friday: Pizza night

Well this is just silly. I really don't need to 'plan' dinner for 3 nights!

Jon said something I've waited 12 years for.

He said he may have to go back to eating meat. HOORAY! Soy is giving him some problems, not to mention it's really freaking hard to eat out. I'm not pushing him, but I think I may make him go eat BB-Q in celebration!

Another thing I'm thinking about- playing tennis. I have this awesome client who's paying for sessions but I know he can't afford it. He's a tennis pro and wants to possibly trade out. I love the clothes and I know it's a totally stupid reason to try it. We'll see. The beauty of it is I'll just mention it and somebody will have an extra racket for me and save the $200.

I still want to do the derby. Open skate is 10-3 at a rink nearby and I'm going to sneak off there a few times before buying the skates. I'm really starting to worry about the time commitment. 4 practices a week 28 miles away one way. They start at 8PM and end about 10:30 getting me home between 11:15 and 11:30.
I have to be to work @ either 5:30 or 6:30AM the next morning. The other practices are Sat and Sunday. Jon or I work every Sat so that's out. Sunday is the only day I can hang out with my family uninterrupted.
You have to make at least 50% of practices. Add to that gas @ $4 a gallon here I'm pretty hesitant. We'll see. I know I need to train for some kind of a sport. I don't think I'd do well in competitive crocheting!

Jeesh reading it over derby sounds ridiculous for me to try!

Totally thought of you this weekend. Saturday night I ran into a local derby girl who encouraged me to try out.

Oh if only... Like I have time for that.
