Victory!

After getting to the bottom of the real reason why "we are no longer accepting baked goods" I happily made 3 batches of cookies today. I spoke with the chick in charge of the concessions, and she said "hell yes I want them! Her daughter has allergies and she's really crazy about monitoring her food. Her daughter loves cookies and gets upset if she can't eat them. But everyone else will! Bag them up!"

In other words, make the masses suffer. Bleh, that again.

I made about 7 dozen cookies, most chocolate chip but some oatmeal raisin. I made them a little bit smaller than I usually do, but 2 in a bag @ 50 cents should be more than fair!

I'm so sore from my workout yesterday. Jackass here decided to do plyometrics in between sets. I did on legged side hops, which was more like a one legged lateral squat jump. Whatever the hell you call it, my ass hurts. I should have done extra cardio today, but boot camp was all I got in.

I wonder if my youngest will take a little nap before the meet. That would be so loverly. He's hell on wheels today. Xan is entered in 2 events today. The 50 freestyle is new for him. He has to go down AND back without stopping or hanging onto the rope. I have a job again today too. I've officially become...a timer! It's the job all the parents are afraid to do. My only guess why they fear it is they won't be able to slam down some wine or pop a xanax beforehand!

I swear, you make me feel like a ten pound weakling just reading about you exercising. I just might be the biggest lump on the planet. I was so sore from doing stupid stuff on the intertube behind the boat last weekend, I just wanted to crawl under a rock and die.

I understand about the non-baked stuff. At my Eldest's school you are not allowed to bring in anything baked at home. Everything must be store bought. They're taking safety a little too much to heart I think. And at our church, nothing can come in that has any peanut products at all. Super restrictive!
