1/2mile warm-up
hip stretches
50 jumping jacks- tap ankle over 30 yards
50 squats-high knees to butt kicks
20 push-ups-front kicks
run lap around parking lot, about 300 meters.
30 dips, 30 glute kick backs, 30 sissy squat shoulder distraction/retractions. (pilates stuff) 300 meter jog. X2.
2X lunge 125 meters @ an incline, jog about 200.
We were all pretty sore from Friday still, so no sprints. Want to take it easy on the joints.
I was sooooo tired I came home and crawled into bed after getting the oldest off to school. Husband told me he would bring the youngest to school since he was going that way. (yay!) So- I wanted to wind down with a good movie, something Xavier could watch.
I have never watched this movie. I know it's a cult classic, pretty much laying the framework for all the zombie/monsteresque movies of today. I can see how the suspence could scare the crap out of you, but since it's 2008 I FF through all that slow crap. The little girl in the basement FREAKED me out.
I would have loved a different ending- but that's what makes it such a classic. Xavier wasn't into it- he saw the zombies tearing up the truck and said "I have to get out of here" later reappearing with a gun and shot the TV. Love that kid.
I'm about to run into Target and try and find a pair of jeans that fit and don't cost $100. Fit will be much harder than price. Who are jeans designed for anyway? Women with huge bellies, no ass or hips and stick thighs? I swear I'm a size 16 in the thigh and 6 in the waist. Ugh!
