The older I get, the longer it takes me to warm up while exercising. When I do run a marathon, I bet my second half will be MUCH faster than the first. Today I did 5 miles in 65 minutes, racewalking the first part @ about 13 minute miles and then bursts of running/walking and ended with the last mile running. (I did stop a few times to take pictures) If I didn't listen to my own advice and stop at 5- something I rarely do-I could have easily completed another 2 miles of walk/running. I knew I'd pay the consequences with a sore body tomorrow if I didn't stop! I've been all over podcasts lately. My favorites on iTunes: Podrunner- free hour of techno-ish type music. Cadence revolution- much like podrunner but less talk in the beginning and more indie stuff. Zencast- is like listening to little workshops on Buddishm. Also has meditations. Vegan Freak weekly information about veganism from an animal liberation point of view. Vegan Radio includes interviews with vegan athletes, musicians and vegan "culture". Whatever that is!
Time flies by when I'm listening to a podcast.
However, there are times you just need an asskicker of a song to push up that hill, or bust out those last reps. For that I give you....
