So much has been going on. We made it through another school year. YAY! Xavier starts Georgia Pre-K next year- which saves me about $650 a month in preschool and childcare costs. SWEET. Xan is going to try "regular" classes next year. He's at a turning point and I'm so happy!
We, meaning the whole family, started going to church again. It's hard for me to put it into words, but when I had the issues with my family a few weeks ago, God helped me through. I felt as if something clicked in me, or a switch flipped on- but it happened. I can honestly say I've never felt happier. I talk to my Mom once a week, and it's working for us now. She's home- drinking and smoking again- but I'm not letting it get to me. My sister and I are still distant, and I don't know if that's something that's going to be easily repaired. I love her, I pray for her and that's about all you can do. I know when she reaches out for me she'll always find my hand.
I started evening boot camp again and I'm exhausted already. I had 8 people on Wed and it was great. Morning boot camp has been a little lighter but I love it. I get to run and jump and squeal with those great ladies while the sun rises!
I've lost 5 pounds. Yay! I've been strict with my cardio and tightening up my diet. More veggies, more fish, more high volume/low calorie foods. Lots of berries, lots of protein.
I am so so so excited about CrossFit East Cobb It's within walking distance from where I work which is 3.5 miles from my house. I am signing up when they open for the 3x per week option. I figure CrossFit 3x's a week, boot camp 3 x's a week and cardio on my own 3 times a week and I'll be fine as hell. :)
Summer swim team started and I am SO SO SO proud of my Xan man. He came in 2nd for both his individual events tonight and won 3 3rd place ribbons in relays. YES! There is no feeling better than seeing your child feel pride in themselves. I was so happy I cried!!!!
I'm at an impass with the sweet pea shawl from Happy Hooker. I need to post a pic- I want it to be wider but I'm not sure how. Ugh.
I promise to be better about updating this summer!
