Little things go a long way with me. It's all about the effort! Somebody sent us a little welcome present from church! The jar was filled with candy, and the New Testament is written in a way that's a bit more user friendly than my NIV. I was so grateful and touched with this simple gift.
I opened the book up and the first thing I see is Luke 17:11-19.
"one of the trademark traits for a Christian life is the ability to be truly thankful- thankful to GOD, thankful to others, thankful for everything that comes your way. Going out of your way to thank someone will go a long way toward growing your character"
Somebody went out of their way to say "Thank You for joining our church". I can't wait to return their kindness and show how thankful I am!
