
It was a steamy 76 degrees with 85% humidity this morning-6:00 AM to be exact. The crossfit warm-up was a bit different than usual. 3X10 slam balls, abmat situps and squats. I struggled a bit, feeling a little off.
6X 15 Back squats, 15 Sumo deadlift to high pull Run 100 meters.
I used 85 for the squats (touching butt on ball, basically a box squat) and the second smallest kettle bell for SDHP, which I think it 1 POOD. The run was more like a drunken stagger by the end- my legs were on FIRE.
Jason being Jason- he wanted to make sure we had given 100%. He added this to the end.
10 minutes AMRAP:
10 Burpees
10 Wall Balls (MORE SQUATS!!!)
10 Slam balls (Even MORE squats!!!)
I barely squeaked out 4 sets, falling a few slam balls short. I was a puddle of sweat. I'm SO glad I skipped the WOD on the main site yesterday- overhead squats run 400 meters!
Off to teach VBS. My shirt is still in the wash and I'm still sitting here instead of the shower. Tsk tsk tsk.
