It was about the kingdom of Rain; Splash and the Kingdom of Sun; Sol. The two kingdoms quarreled, but allowed one day of rain followed by one day of sun to keep things fair. When Splash, who was old and forgetful went out of turn, Sol was enraged. He lit the biggest candle in the kingdom to stop the rain.
This caused Splash to call for even more rain, along with thunder and lightening. The battle went on for some time, confusing the people of Earth.
Luckily the north wind realized what had happened, and blew out the candles in the Kingdom of Sol and froze the the water in the mighty tap of the kingdom of splash.
Splash was informed of his mistake and was feeling silly. He knew he had to apologize to King Sol and make friends with him again.
The old friends made up, and the South wind blew in and unfroze the tap of Splash and relit the candles of Sol.
To show the people of Earth the two kingdoms were friends, the people of Sol and Splash joined together and painted a rainbow across the sky.
I'm so glad Mom and I were able to paint a giant rainbow across the sky.
There is nothing in this world as precious as a Mother. I had the privilege to call Beverly Carey my Mom. Things weren't perfect- but she loved Jenny and I with a perfect, unconditional love.
A love so strong I felt it over 1,000 miles and years of silence.
She never held a grudge and she never kept score. She loved me when I didn't deserve it, when I didn't understand it. She just kept on loving me and forgiving me. She wiped the slate clean and we'd pick up where we left off.
That's perfect love.
I loved my Mom so dearly. I hated the alcoholism.
She was a good person in a bad world. She was an excellent Mother, Grandmother, friend and human being.
She did the best she could, and I think Jenny would agree we turned out pretty good!
Remember her as the kind, witty, beautiful person you knew. She'll live on in my heart and in her grand children's hearts.
