Bad one



Began the warm up and everything was fine- until the air squats. My knee was not happy. I ran 1/4 mile and felt fine, but deep knee flexion was a no no. I put on the stupid brace and it seemed fine. I decided to do 5X15 hang squat cleans, then the WOD from Wed @ Crossfit east cobb. So I do one set of 15 with the bar. At number 10, my body just wouldn't go. Knee starts throbbing, grip is gone, feeling slow.

Great. Change plans.


Do the CFEC workout. Instead of OH squat do a dead lift. Easier on the knees.


Can't seem to pull my fat ass up for a pull up with the band. I use the machine with 50 and still struggle.

Deadlifts with 65- start and finish on ground (bumper plates) ugly ugly ugly. Losing grip, knee hurts on top of move....

Nope. Not even close. Can't hang on. Can't get my legs up.

Double unders: I made it to 10 almost pissed myself and my knee throbbed.

My iPod died as I began the last round and I made a deal with myself to finish this one and I'd be done.

I completed 3 rounds and a half mile in about 19 minutes. :P


Next time I wake up in this state I'll take a rest day! Ice-advil-elevation repeat. Ice-advil-elevation repeat....
