Motivate Me

After working out on the power plate 2 times this week I've come up with a little injury. My right peoneus has been strained- probably from trying to stabilize myself on the plate. It's very sore, been fibrillating all night and making me unhappy. I worked out on the plate yesterday and skipped my run due to the way my leg felt. What began as a twinge in the afternoon rapidly developed into horrible pain all night. Thank you Advil for getting me through! I wrapped it in an ace bandage but that was really making the muscles twitch. I used a Tru-Fit shin/calf wrap but it wasn't enough support. I'm going to buy an ankle brace before work to wear with the calf sleeve. Boot camp was fine until the lunges- no beuno. Nipping this in the bud- I may have to pull out of the 10k next weekend but I think there's another one the week after. Sigh. Getting old is so yucky.
