My Mother has been calling me lately. I haven't picked up. For the past 2 and a half years I haven't spoken with her. Suddenly she calls me and acts as if nothing is wrong. Such typical behavior of an alcoholic. I love you Mom. I pray for you. For the sake of my family and my sanity- I won't allow you to be a part of my magnificent life until you are 100% sober.
It truly is your loss.
