Another reason

I need to join a gym. I walk in about 1:15 (my 1:00 bailed on me, no biggie) and there is my manager cleaning like a meth addict. On the treadmill is my former boss, the owner and manager of the women's gym that sucked the life out of me for 8 years. To his right is his wife, my former client. They are both absolutely wonderful, lovely people. Having known them for 10 years and saw at least one of them 5 days a week for 8 years a simple wave and "Hey there!" won't due. They want pictures of the children, ask questions about Jon, about me- even my pets as they've been to my house and met them all! 10 minutes later I start my workout. Sigh.

I did 7X1 push jerk. I've never done a push jerk. Push press- hell yes a staple of my workout diet, especially in competition mode. I went in with great caution, warming up with a 32 pound body bar. Stretched, began building to a working weight. I ended up at 95. Booyah! I honestly could have added more for the final reps, but I didn't want to push my luck! I'm happy, I'm wiped out from boot camp too. It makes me want to go in to a real CrossFit gym. Damn it.
