1 mile run
100 pull ups (green rubber band)
200 push ups (knees, chest to ground)
300 squats
1 mile run
I sweat so hard I changed colors!
But I survived, it's all good.
I was actually hoping to crack an hour, so anything under was gravy. The girl I was working with (we were both making it up instead of the scheduled WOD) was in killer shape. She runs a lot and I'm betting she was a gymnast. She beat me by 3 minutes! THere was a point I reached- the barfing point- I was even with her. Then I remembered it was my first crossfit in 12 days after being sick so I backed off and plodded along. I hate to make excuses, but in this case I had to remind myself. The last lap I was dying. My legs were locking up and I was walking some and running-if you can call it that- some. Felt great to be back. I know I need to work on my endurance, my weekly long run/walk will take of that.
Diet was perfect today. We went to the movies and I brought in string cheese, raw carrots and broccoli, tic tacs and gum for myself. My protein was high all day and no more blood sugar issues. I didn't eat too much fruit either. I was under in my points (by 2) and I'm actually too tired and not feeling hungry. I think the evening workouts are going to be the best for me. YAY!
