I made a double batch of sweet potato gnocchi. Very laborious but the boys love them. Took about 2.5 hours start to finish...I did load the dishwasher, make breakfast for the four of us and clean the kitchen during that time.
Crud. I forgot to take a picture of the finished drop stitch scarf. She loves it- you can wear it as a shawl too. Really happy with that.

Every year we give the boys a little something from Mom and Dad. This year it was the snuggie. That's ALL Xan has talked about. "If I had a Snuggie, I wouldn't need a blanket and I wouldn't be so stinking cold" I had to go to 3 different stores to find 2 blue ones for kids! Unreal!
We went to the candle light service tonight at church. The kids took communion for the first time ever...we all sang silent night and held our candles up as the room went dark and the background music faded...it was beautiful. I had tears in my eyes. That's what Christmas is all about- the celebration of our savior! Merry CHRISTMAS!
